Had a fruitful day cooking with fresh spruce tips! They taste like green blueberries to me more than they taste “piney”. I made spruce tip jelly, pickled spruce tips, spruce tip sugar, spruce tip salt, and spruce tip vinegar. Next year I will definitely be trying spruce tip beer as well!
