Alkrenon sketches

HOW DO FUCKIN DRAENEI LEGS WORK WHEN SUPER CROUCHED JESUSJKADHAJSDHA

So ah yeah I figured since Alk is the more stalkerish kind of hunter and that sorta fits the rangari theme as well I did some sketches to see how it would look and yes I beefed him back up a bit more, NOW he’s more the body type I had in mind. Can you see I was inspired by “Tarzan”? Cause I so was

I have a guilty pleasure. I like drawin cartoony faces on my characters, but I stopped doing that a couple of years ago ‘cause I wanted to get into “serious” art. But lately I’ve been exploring that maybe it’s a good thing to bring back and so here are a few attempts with Alkrenon. AND HEY NEW BODY TYPE AS WELL, WILL I KEEP THIS ONE? IT’S A MYSTERY!

I got inspired by all the fun exploring loraclespeaks and I did yesterday in the beta server. SHE KEPT TOUCHING THINGS SHE SHOULDN’T BE DON’T JUMP IN THE PURPLE SWIRLS. So most of these were Alk’s expressions during that. I had a lot of fun both on the beta and doodling these!

ADVENTURES IN BETA LAND

So kirahti’s Belna and Alkrenon were off exploring Shadowmoon Valley up on this rise and apparently there’s a not-so-friendly group of people up there (avoiding spoilers) and long story short they would’ve had their tails fried had they not jumped off the nearby cliff, BUT DON’T WORRY THERE WAS A LAKE BELOW THAT LEAD DOWN A RIVER TO SAFETY

I’m slowly chipping away at this but I wanted to work on getting “scenes” done, which I could never get comfortable enough to do with my old tablet.

Today was a blah art day. I tried to get some work done, but ended up hating the result so I’m going to start all over again, but I wanted to end the day on a positive note (and forcing myself to use the tablet more often) so I sketched Alkrenon’s favorite pet, the saber panther, Duskwood. This big boy’s been with Alkrenon since… geesh, since the animal was available to tame, first time around 2011. He’s getting a little older now, and he’s content to napping in the stables while Alkrenon’s in the city doing whatever he needs to do.
