listen my man it doesn’t matter how many times you shriek you need a healer I am a delicate little music boy and you need to stay close to get your healing not charging into danger so you better jingle jangle back into the love zone or I’ll push your ass off a cliff
My first thought was “Bard in D&D”, it took me an embarrassingly long time to realize the OP probably meant Lucio in Overwatch.
Bold of you to imply Lucio Correia dos Santos isn’t the bard of Overwatch
Chinese fandoms are currently experiencing an actual Purge right now. Every fandom. Accounts are getting banned, all shipping wars has been put on hold. Everyone’s hiding their porn and moving them to ao3.
There’s reward money involved. A recent update to censorship law raised the maximum reward for reporting illicit online materials to 50k yuan (7000 USD), so some people are reporting porn like crazy right now, and apparently, BL fandoms have been especially targeted, where some even more tame things got maliciously misreported.
Anyway, it’s a mess. Content creators are just disappearing off the face of the internet left and right. Expect an influx of Chinese porn fics on AO3.
Well… if there’s one thing out of this mess… nothing bands warring ships/fandoms like censorship…
There’s also a reward of 50′000 yuan ($7′200) for reporting material that is ‘contaminating the minds of minors’, jeopardising society and public morals. It’d be nice if they actually went after porn but they’re too busy sending people who write m/m smut in jail for ten years.
So the other day, I was thinking about the classic alignment chart, and how it doesn’t really do much for me personally since it’s more about how characters interact with systems rather than how they interact with other people
I had a minute, so I figured I’d throw something together that DID suit my needs!
(Note: This chart regards a character’s intent rather than the outcome of their actions—and for sake of clarity, here are the definitions I’m working with:
Good: concerned with the well-being the collective, often at expense of the self
Evil: concerned with the well-being of the self, often at the expense of the collective
Kind: concerned with the emotional responses of others
Cruel: unconcerned with the emotional responses of others)
I like conceptualizing things this way, cause sometimes Bad People behave with ‘good’ or ‘kind’ intentions, and sometimes Good People do things that seem ‘evil’ or ‘cruel’
Also this gives me a way to compare/contrast characters who get lumped together under the other system
