Me: Man, modern movie posters are just dumb photoshopped nonsense
“Godzilla: King of the Monsters”: we got you, man
Like, honestly? This is just utterly beautiful. And it’s a pretty awesome callback to 1991’s “Godzilla vs. King Ghidorah”, just this prehistoric Monster grappling with an evil golden dragon
Painted (whether digitally or physically) movie posters should really make a comeback, like holy crap!
Just a wonderful reminder that “A Wrinkle in Time” comes out on March 9th!
It’s one of the largest budget films being directed by a Black Woman (Ava Duvernay)!
The lead is a young Black girl and has an incredibly diverse cast, impeccable music score (The incomparable Sade, anyone?), and breathtaking visuals taking the audience to an adventure of a lifetime!
So!!! Let’s show out how we’ve been doing to ‘Girls Trip’, ‘Black Lightening,’ ‘Black Panther’, and “Luke Cage”. Let’s make it another record breaker to remember #RepersentationMatters
How horrible of someone to say “there’s not many black men in the main cast so it’s not a good movie”.
FIRST, it’s a book whose character majority is female. SECOND, I would lose count AND my mind if I had to sit and list how many movies people aggressively urge people to go see to support Black Men and/or People of Color that have NO Black Women.
