Thank you so much!! I love drawing wings đ My favourite method is to draw them out as creepy hands first, then add the webbing afterwards – always helps me figure out the pose a bit easier.
So if you lived in a society where you had to secure your communication in order to be yourself around others, here are the apps that could help you do that.
Signal letâs you securely text and make phone calls.
Onion Browser allows you to surf the web without leaving a trail.
Duck Duck Go isnât super secure but it wonât record your searches like Google.
ProtonMail is a email client that lets you email other secure email accounts.
Periscope allows you to stream live video.
Semaphor is there so you can securely make group chat rooms.
American privacy laws allow you to use these all. So thatâs pretty cool.
Because weâre currently living in the prologue of a cyberpunk dystopian novel, imma reblog this.
âOur short-term goals are to get folks home for the holidaysâ
⢠There are more African American men incarcerated in the U.S. than the total prison populations in India, Argentina, Canada, Lebanon, Japan, Germany, Finland, Israel and England, combined.
⢠Ziegler, a PhD recipient now based in Oakland, explains that a July tweet proposing the app idea gained traction, inspiring him to pursue the concept in a real way.
⢠While Appolition.us is another towering extension of Zieglerâs contributions towards aiding marginalized people, he knows itâs a small step towards bringing light and hope to the trying effects mass incarceration presents.
So since we are going to definitely lose Net Neutrality since nothing people say matters and the rulers are blindly evil – do you think we could push this into a fight for municipal broadband with direct democratic control? Canât be fucked by Comcast if we create our own fiber-optic internet that is controlled by the people.
TLDR, we can totally DIY an internet. Donât even need no fancy-schmancy fiber optic, which makes it more accessible (and thus less susceptible to capture by the state), to the point where you wouldnât even need to do it through municipal governmentâyou could do it yourselves, with some friends, in your neighborhood.
You can use them as is, but it adds some good flavor to roast them first. Just throw them in the oven on a greased baking sheet until you get some golden browning going on.
1. Throw bones and scraps of whatever animal you just ate into a pot
2. Add water to cover
3. Simmer for a few hours until all the tasty goodness has been simmered out of the scraps.Â
4. Strain out scraps.
5. Either sip broth straight up (itâs a tasty, warming thing on a cold day and a good food for a sick belly that canât keep much down) or use as a base to make whatever soup or stew you like.Â
Really thatâs the gist of it. You can add veggies like carrots and celery and spices and herbs to make it even tastier, but thatâs just a matter of taste. Thereâs no right or wrong way to do it.Â
I rarely measure anything when making stock. I eyeball that shit and throw in whatever I have lying around. Thatâs the way I learned to make it.Â
My stepmom told me a while ago to add a little vinegar to the water to pull more nutrients out of the bones themselves. Her soup always turns out pretty good, as long as she doesnât try and add extra healthy crap to it.
Iâve seen this tip a couple times now and Iâmma have to try it.Â
How much vinegar? Like a tablespoon for a large pot? Or more or less?
