I failed you in letting you know when the new kids on the block arrived! Knobtail geckos are chubby goblins at this age and an endless blackhole of cricket consumption. They’re growing so fast though!
Mama: Shit! All right, okay- that’s it, though! Ned, there’s powerful cosmic forces at work here, stuff that’s gotta stay out of the public eye! I don’t know if we can trust you, Ned fuckin’ Chicane, but I need you to trust me when I say that there’d be dire consequences if anyone else in Kepler found out about this gate in the woods. Do you understand me?
Griffin: [very smug] And it’s at that point that the gate is, just for a moment, filled with light, and out steps Duck Newton. Duck, you are back in the woods, and here’s four people who are all kind of looking at you with shock. Especially Mama and Barclay. They look kind of dumbfounded and kind of horrified as you step foot back into Kepler.
Duck: Uh, I’m District Ranger Duck Newton, it’s a nickname, and, uh, ma’am, I’m going to need you to extinguish that flame, please.
Aubrey: Oh, yeah! [makes ‘pschoo’ noise]
Duck: Thank you very much.
Griffin: Mama looks at you, Duck, for a few seconds, just- her mouth agape in sort of disbelief at how quickly this situation has spiraled, and she says-
Legitimately this is such a good fucking screenshof, from the comedic timing to the perfect emote captured to the background enhancing the movement of the photo???? This needs more notes y’all
A few Dragons sketched up on our #CreatureFeature stream. These were inspired by obscure “elements” and ended up going in different directions to their original ideas. Tag me in your posts if you join in on the fun! Also thanks for 500 follows on Twitch!
Lovely red spots on these Mexican spadefoot toads [Spea multiplicata], a species that ranges from Mexico to western Oklahoma. These toads are most often found in semi-arid grasslands and river valleys, and are especially visible on nights following or during summer rainstorms. Images taken in Veracruz, Mexico, by Adam G.
