I uh… wrote a Sister Claire thing!  My first ever Sister Claire fanfiction even though I’ve been reading since about ten pages into the webcomic lol

They sat alone, huddled together against the cold.

Hellsing and Wolf Witch.

Well.  Former Hellsing.

Olga wasn’t sure how she and Azi had managed to get separated from the group in these bitterly cold mountains, but here they were.  She shifted a little reaching into her pack to write out wards with a shaky hand.

“What are you doing?”  Azi asked, her voice a low rumble from her wolf body.

“Need to make sure we are protected until Jackson and the other can find us.”  Ogla finished her wards and stumbled her way over to the trees surrounding them in the clearing.  After each ward was in place, she sighed and went back.

Azi shifted to give herself some hands and took the time to dig out a space in the snow for them to hide in as well.  “You know snow better than I do, but even I know a snow house helps keep heat in.”

Olga nodded and they crawled into the hollow together.

Silence.

Olga was used to silence.  There was a lot of it in the abbey, but this was… different.  “Azi?”

“Yeah, sis?”

“I’m sorry.”

Azi blinked and craned her head to look up at Olga’s face.  “You’re sorry?”

“Da.  For the harsh way I have treated you.  I watched… I watched Wolf Witches murder and eat someone I cared for very much.”

“So you called the Hellsings down on my family.”  Azi looked away.

“Da.  And I’m sorry.”  Olga sighed.  “This journey has let old memories surface, old ideas.  Things I had never thought…” She trailed off.  “I am going to try to be the person I was when I was young.  When I still had hope that things were going to get better for everyone.”

Azi huffed in response.  “Good.  I like Jackson, and you know she wants us to get along.  You need to make her happy.”

“I do make her happy!” Olga said, in mock affront.  “I love her more than anything else in this world.”

Azi barked a laugh, “Good.  She told me the same thing, once!”

They both grew silent.

It was a better silence this time.  Friendly.  Familial.

This year, I’ve made a small pledge to myself to work on my artwork and produce art more often.

To start off, I drew the lovely Clementine from @sisterclaire by @yamino and @summerlightning! This image was primarily inspired by imagery of saints and tarot cards.

What a wonderful way to start the year, Gem!! This is a very striking piece. I love all of Clementine’s freckles and her scars.
