so I’ve read the Infinity War spoilers, and if you want to read all of them too you can check this thread on Reddit for a blow by blow of the whole movie.
but if you’d like some spoilers-that-aren’t-spoilers, just sort of a heads up, I feel like I should warn you that there are a LOT of character deaths, far more than I was expecting, and not the deaths that I was expecting.
the “good news”, however, is that in that Reddit post are some people who’ve read the comic books and explain that the manner in which a lot of the characters die is something that can and will be reversed. and I think we can guarantee that a number of them will be reversed, as some of the characters who ‘died’ are confirmed to be in future movies. however, this isn’t explained in the movie itself, so many other characters are devastated by the sudden deaths. and of course we don’t know for sure if all of them will come back.
there’s also a fan favorite death in the very beginning of the movie, and apparently a scene where a female character is pretty brutally murdered, so everybody should be careful. there’s also a scene where another female character is being tortured.
I’m not telling anyone they shouldn’t see the movie, but considering the spoilers I’ve read, this movie has a lot of really dark shit and anyone who is mentally ill or might potentially be triggered should be aware of what they’re in for.
