I’m developing the ideas slowly since we don’t know much about the lore yet, but from what I understand about the Nightborne/Suramar so far is that I want to get to a point with Beurghes where he agrees to teach the Nightborne druidic magic in exchange for their arcane power (desperate to reach his Highborne status), basically betraying his own people. But the Nightborne instead entrap Beurghes and use him as a living conduit for the flora and forests surrounding the city for defense. He is coccooned in thick roots, kept bound and alive within, called the Heart.
This idea is for waaaay into Legion and we’ll see how it develops along the way! But I really liked the thought of having Beurghes’ avarice bite him in the ass eventually, and we’ll see how or if he gets out of it.
Got sent some RP snippets and I liked this quote by Caeliri when she and Dey were sitting and talking together about the Light. But she’s quick to realize Dey’s a master at avoiding personal questions
I haven’t read anything yet about male night elves being wardens, but with females being able to be druids just as males are allowed to be priests now – the gender norms are much more relaxed – it can be reasonable that males may soon (or have) joined the ranks of the wardens. And with female demon hunters as well it’s only fair to add their male counterparts of justice!
Likely since wardens are traditionally females, males may have not yet reached high enough rank or status to be of any distinct rank and may still answer to their female superiors, perhaps this reflected in armor that lacks the crescent rings on the back. But at this point I’m speculating! Would be fun!
20 min doodle comic thing I may develop further about Beurghes and one of his Nightborn captors (a botanist, one of these) that uses the druid as a living conduit to control the plant life around Suramar. The invasive arcane magics are torturous and drain Beurghes of will, energy, and life.
