So here’s A Thought™

I figured the reclusive Nightborne probably never saw a donkey or mule in their life, have no idea of the stigma and poor association of these animals as lowly beasts of burden. All they see is that they are glorious, magnificent creatures because they have long ears – and so if having long ears is a sign of racial superiority (as many elves likely believe) then clearly this animal is of equal virtue.

and so we see Deyaenus’ mule, Woodsworth, enjoying some fancy ear wear deserving of such beauty – plus a whole lot of pets and treats!

poor Deyaenus is probably looking for the animal wondering where it went

OKAY I HAVE TO RUSH TO WORK BUT FIRST THING’S FIRST

I’ve been thinking about something you know how Naaru go through Light and Void cycles? and it’s like a normal part of their life?I was thinking… what if priests have to go through the same thing? That one of the main reasons the duality between Light and Void in priests  were very separated at first was simply because humans never lived long enough to go through this cycle fully

Draenei are wary of the Void, but they don’t outright banish it
they’re not scared of the Void
there’s Void priests in draenei society just fine

Draenei priests accept this cycle and go through it themselves. they have to. it’s nature beyond what nature is

I imagine Void priests have Holy priests that can help them bring them back to the Light once their cycle is completed, and vice versa

Void priests that prepare and take in holy priests that are readying for their Void cycle

I don’t want to make it sound like an excuse but maybe part of Dey’s restlessness and anxiety is that he’s forcefully avoiding the Void cycle because he has lived long enough to reach it but having grown with human teachings still makes him think it’s corruptive and bad and has to be avoided at all costs. so he has suppressed it for YEARS while this Void cycle is trying to start but never has

I have to put better words to this but here’s that for now!
