This is a sketch of the outfit I had in mind for Deyaenus to wear to an upcoming date auction/gala. casual but just enough formal
he’s putting himself up for auction cause he’s poor and dates earn fifty percent of whatever they’re bid on so he’s at least put some effort to dress more decent
And as 2018 is here let this be the last and first art of the new Deyaenus!
Deyaenus is not exactly the most gracious guest in Vaelrin’s manor, even after boarding and fresh clothes. The man has reason to not trust that scoundrel!
Deyaenus had a few extra materials of stuff lying around and decided to donate them to Tyleril ( @tyleril-silversword) for the shop they were opening that evening. Much like in groceries, two trips are for losers! Though his back may regret such pride.

As much as I love Beurghes struttin’ and flaunting I wanted to approach Battle for Azeroth showing that behind the tight silks and gold and founts of power there is just an old, tired man that has lived too long but is not yet done. He has become addicted to arcane in the same folly manner as many who think they are strong enough to not affect them; thinking he could combine arcane and druidic magics freely – with nothing in the end of worth to show for it except a self inflicted hunger that never ceases.
But, he lacks a skill he needs to keep himself alive longer; unable to siphon mana as other elf races can. And needs to learn quickly if he is able to survive the few years he has left.
For this he has found two individuals to help him; @yung-rage‘s Mythandos, the Nightborne, both as a guide of Suramar’s founts of arcane and to eventually teach @star-spire‘s Ilyssae how to siphon and serve as Beurghes’ living vessel of arcane.
In this scene, Beurghes has come to visit the imprisoned Mythandos and offer to pay off his bail in return for a little bit of help…
A while ago I got an message asking about what I thought Nuuri, mother of Raakesh and mate of Velen, would look like. I cannot find that ask again in my inbox to respond, but I manage to do a quick sketch before work of the lovely woman. I want to continue working on this too I think it would make a great piece.
I couldn’t help myself to make a beautiful mule breed based on the equally gorgeous mawari mules plus the Nightborne race! I still stand by that elves would see themselves reflected in the long eared donkeys and mules of the world and see them as a creature of equal virtue! I may design some tack to go with him as well
