You do a lot of lore stuff, so I was wondering, how do you think Trans stuff would work in the WoW-verse with such huge instances of sexual dimorphism in the races?

isei-silva:

It would definitely work! There are already so many transmutation potions and shapeshifting trinkets that allow individuals to change their appearance and physical form, momentarily or permanently, that alternating gender would be a small effort.

Relating more to the sexual dimorphism found between the races (such as draenei), keep in mind that our in-game avatars are only a placeholder limited by mechanics. A ‘real life’ version of Azeroth would have a wide variety of different heights and body types for every race and their genders! There would be females that are very beefy, males that are very petite, and everything in between!

Thnx, but Another one xD But one barely gets to see their arcane orders; like I saw many Vindicators and Anchorites, WoD introduced us to the Rangari, Nobundo brought them shamanism so even that is (somewhat) represented, but where are the Augari? Did they all Go with Archimonde & Kil’jaeden? did the entire society turn to the light whole-heartedly xD They give similar Night Elf vibes of how great they WERE. What do you think about them Now. did the Augari get disbanded? Replaced? Any ideas xD

isei-silva:

Oh! Gotcha!

Here’s what we have on the Conservatory of the Arcane, the greatest school of magic on Argus:

The Conservatory of the Arcane is a location in Mac’Aree. It was the greatest school of magic on Argus. The three Augari schools were based here and led  by Archimonde, who was himself an alumnus.

The eredar once stored great quantities of energy throughout power conduits here. Several native species were drawn to the area because of its latent energies, including panthara and marsuul.

Quoram was once the keeper of the Conservatory’s keys, custodian to all of its locks and gates.

It is divided into the Hall of Enlightenment, the Praetorium and the Wakener’s Enclave.

The Augari:

The Augari, also known as the Triad, was formed of three eredar orders: the Wakeners, the Consulate, and the Scholars. Archimonde, Master of the Augari, instaured three trials. Their seat was the Conservatory of the Arcane, the greatest school of arcane magic on Argus.

The Arc-Consul, Velara, answered only to Archimonde himself.

Looks like the majority of the Augari sided with Archimonde on this one! Not to say there weren’t others that decided to escape with the other refugees, but if a student didn’t know better there would be no reason to distrust Archimonde at the time which ultimately lead to their corruption.

The Augari as the eredar knew them seem to be no more past their exodus from Argus. The draenei certainly continued their practice of magic and the arcane throughout their travels, but there never was a collective of Augari again.

This is something difficult to put into words.

Sylvanas is a great character.

I hate her.  I hate her for the same reason I hated Garrosh.  For the same reason i hate Genn.  For the same reason i hated Varian.

Varian, at least, tried to turn from his warmongering path right there before Blizzard snatched him out of the grip of character development.

I played both sides of the next step in the Pre-Expac today.  And… I’m emotionally involved in this game.  In the characters… in MY characters.  And this has left me feeling drained and hopeless.

so many people were talking about asking blizzard for free faction changes when i finished the horde quests. This is not the true potential of the Horde.  What she’s done is petty revenge.  Revenge on the Living.  Revenge for a life that was taken from her.

Revenge under the guise of patriotism.

Vol’jin… how could you have gotten it so wrong?  She’s going to destroy the Alliance under the guise of securing freedom for the Horde… and then she will turn on the Horde, until only the forsaken are left.
