Behold the Harmony “Aero Uke”.
Handcrafted in 1927 to commemorate Charles Lindbergh’s first transatlantic flight, this ukuele was designed and sold by the Harmony company in Chicago, which apparently was a hotbed of ukulele activity in the early 20th century. The one on top is an original, the second one is a reproduction.
History is super weird you guys.
I want one.
