If having more women in your show will automatically make said show all about sex then you need a new team of writers that actually know how to write female characters.
Women are not automatically and solely sexual objects. That is not all we bring to the table. We are more than just love interests. Our stories are important too.
Arguably one of the most beloved female characters on Supernatural is A LESBIAN! with ZERO interest in either of our boys. yet they still managed to give her multiple romantic subplots.
by all means, let lesbians show their love for girls, but don’t then argue that you “don’t wanna make it about sex” because that’s what you’re doing.
Every demon, multiple angels, and any number of other female-presenting beings have been sexualized when they didn’t need to be. They even give the boys’ maternal figures romantic/ sexual subplots. This is probably my biggest disappointment in this show, tbh and the fact that they’re claiming that they didn’t want to “make it sexual” is fucking ridiculous.
