this is from a horrible place called TIGERS run by a horrible man named doc antle in south carolina. they have their own tag on my blog here with a lot more info but the basic rundown is this facility is notorious for irresponsible and exploitative practices such as breeding ligers and other unhealthy hybrids, severely inbred color morphs, pay-to-play schemes with both adults and cubs, and interspecies interaction as seen in this video
this is dangerous bc diseases can be passed between the two species very easily esp bc those tigers are young cubs. no responsible facility allows interspecies interaction between such different species (not including sanctuaries that keep different species together for certain reasons or zoos that keep dogs with cheetahs) esp when one is an apex predator. its just a disaster waiting to happen.
even if it wasnt dangerous, lets think about this for a second … why is this happening? why did this facility decide to broadcast this interaction to the world? bc itll go viral bc people will think its “”“cute”“” and they know this. there is no reason for this interaction other than doc antle wants more exposure for his facility so more people will go to it or donate to it which is more money for him. remember when i mentioned t.i.g.e.r.s. is exploitative? yeah this is the type of shit im talking about. its all a scheme.
start being more critical of the “”“cute”“” animal content yall consume. lets move towards a world where animals arent harmed and exploitated, yeah?
