I’m really not a fan of Rowling or her works anymore. I like playing with the concepts of them and fiddling around with the world cause it was a cool concept and part of my childhood but she’s a lazy writer who relies on lazy tropes and the hype train if her initial success to keep the franchise moving.
Plus I really have no time for the fact that she “accidentally” sides with terfs on Twitter and refuses to “pander” to fans by making her characters gay. I forget which interview that was but it was really disheartening to watch. And revealing.
Actually, yeah thoughts on Harry Potter in general? Personally, I’m not a fan, I felt like Rowling half-assed her world. Like for some reason the Wizards live among muggles but have no idea how do dress in their clothing, or the fact the three main characters make one lousy main character(Hermoine the brain, Ron the heart, and Harry the body).
