sweet girl appeared on our porch last week, so we brought her to the local shelter and put a finder’s hold on her so if no one claimed her we’d have first chance at adoption. Based on her skittish behavior they didn’t seem sure how long it would be before we could pick her up, but she just went up for adoption today so we’re going to pick her up! Only problem is we expected it to be longer so we’re rushing to get prepared. X) anything helps!!
UPDATE: apparently we can’t bring her home today because legally the shelter has to have her spayed first. Today we got to visit with her for a while, and we filled out the paperwork to adopt her, so we have a dog! We also have a few more days to get the house ready and everything, which is probably for the best. We’re picking her up Wednesday afternoon after her surgery!
