that’s crazy! today alone i caught like 3 pikachus (there is a pikachu event happening rn though), a couple eevees, a scyther, and like a fuckton of rattatas and pidgeys. Most of the things i see are gen 1. Maybe they did that when they introduced gen 2?

though that might’ve only been something they were doing in certain areas or they might’ve decided not to go through with it when people were upset. idk

I haven’t actually been playing that long. Like I only really started in april or so…so it very well could’ve been that way when they released gen 3. Which yeah…what the fuck…gen 3 may be my all time fave, but it’d be no fun to just do away with gens 1 and 2  

uh… to weigh in on something thats absolutely not my conversation, sorry, Gen 1 and Gen 2 are still in the game.  I think they decided to not go through with it because I catch that shit all the time.
