you know… before i did vet tech stuff, Cujo was a scary story to me. Now its just sad 😦
Rabies is easily preventable.
You did vet tech stuff too!? (And yeah, I definitely agree about Cujo)
I did! I almost graduated too, but due to a disagreement with the doc I interned under, she failed me from the class
I was unable to finish because I had such severe allergies and any medication that would have helped would have made me unable to work anyways. I was sooooo close too. One of my biggest regrets for sure.
I mean, i regret not finishing, my tbh its for the better. I had too much anxiety and depression to not get emotional burnout at that kind of job. And with a 1 in 4 chance of killing myself and the tools to do so… yeah. Looking back, I’m glad i didn’t make it, but i wish i had finished and found it out for myself.
I hear you there. I was struggling with the same mental issues myself actually. I likely would have burnt out as well, but I love horses and I loved learning all of the medical stuff and it helps me give my horse the best care I can, especially since he was given to me emaciated and then had a really bad colic episode that hospitalized him just about a month ago. Thanks to my knowledge, I was able to understand what was going on and how to help him. Even if I can’t be a vet tech, I want to become a farrier so that I can work with horses and actually sustain myself. That’s me and him in the picture below. His name is Link 😀
you are gorgeous and he looks so sweet! I love horses! Draft horses are my favorites. A friend had four shires that followed me around like puppies licking me every chance they got
